Ambassador Team
Meet the 2021 Indy Women's Half Marathon & 5K Ambassadors!
Erica Biefnes
I grew up primarily focusing on swimming and made it to NCAAs swimming for the University of Indianapolis (Go Hounds!) My love for running came later in life: My husband and I own 3 dogs and when we rescued our third dog, I took up running to keep the dogs and myself in shape. I went from struggling to run a mile, to running 10 miles and decided I would sign up for a half marathon, a half ironman, then a full ironman all in 2019 when this obsession started. I live in Greenwood and I love running in and around the Indy areas, and exploring different places. The Indy Women's Half marathon is my favorite race because of the amazing support from all of the strong women participants, the fast course, the well-organized event coordinators, and the best post-race celebration with friends that you can find!
Ruby Cline-Eaton
Hi there! I’m Ruby Cline-Eaton... As an "older" athlete I’m excited to be representing IWH. I live in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky. I’ve completed several races locally and ‘‘racecations’’ with my runner daughter and BRF’s (best running friends). My greatest accomplishment was competing in my very first 10K this year. As "A Runners Mom and More" I’ve supported and encouraged all age levels and race distances. Currently I’m assisting with a run program for those in recovery from the Hope Center called A Running Start. Along with my walk/running I do Kettlebell for strength training, and will be bike riding 75 miles to raise funds for Children’s Cancer Research during the month of September. Monday mornings, as ‘‘A Runners Mom and More’’ I do race event reporting on the local radio, my sign off mantra is Get Up--Get Out--Get Moving!
Kitti Drake
Hello, I’m Kitti Drake. I ran my first half marathon in 1998, then life happened, and I didn’t run my 2nd half until 4 years later in 2002. After that I was hooked! I’ve run about 41 halves, 3 full marathons, 2 Ragnar Relays, 3 Spring Triathlons and numerous 5K’s and 10k’s. I’ve also been a pace leader for a local Spring and Fall half marathon training programs. I’m a member of Speedway Running Club and I help coach the Speedway Junior Running Club in the summers. For me running is a way to stay in shape and fight age. I love inspiring other runners and love showing them that you don’t have to be an elite athlete to be a runner. I ran my first Indy Women’s September 3, 2011. I Love everything about this race, especially the Swag and the Awesome Post Race Festivities!! I am so excited to be an ambassador for the Indy Women’s Half Marathon!
Sharosca Mack
Hey everyone! I am excited and honored to be named as an ambassador for the 2021 Indy Women's Half Marathon and 5K.

Here's a little about me: I will celebrate my 10th year of military service this month. I moved to Indy about 6 years ago and got introduced to the Indy Women's Half Marathon and 5K shortly after moving here. I have been running since middle school (where I did cross country and long-distance). Currently, I do Crossfit at Indy South CrossFit to stay active. I love motivating people and pushing them to a potential they didn't think was possible.

I'm excited to see you all at the race.
Christine Mitchell
My name is Christine and I am so excited to return to live, in person races this Fall! Over the past 17 years, I have ran 24 half marathons in several states, 2 full marathons, 4 triathlons, and a handful of trail races. In 2018, I ran ten half marathons in one year, which is one of my proudest accomplishments. I became a first time mom amidst the pandemic and was very sad to see so many races canceled in 2020 and 2021. Running is my therapy and pushing a toddler in a running stroller is certainly a workout! When I'm not training for a race, you can find me hiking with the Indianapolis Women's Hiking Community, a facebook group I started five years ago and is now 1,400 women strong! I run and hike to inspire others to get outside, stay active, and get healthy. My daughter and husband are my motivation and my number one fans!
